New entry requirements for Morocco
Dear passengers,
Following the announcement issued by the Moroccan authorities regarding conditions of entry into the country, we would like to inform you that from September 25, 2025, to January 25, 2026, travelers from certain countries will be required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization for Morocco (ETAM).
This authorization will be required both on departure and on arrival and applies to nationals of the following countries : Senegal, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gabon, Niger, Togo, and Tunisia.
Procedure for obtaining the ETAM :
- To attend the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations matches: via the YALLA app of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.
- For other reasons (tourism, business, family visits, etc.): via the Accès Maroc portal, at least 96 hours before departure.
The following are not affected:
- Holders of diplomatic, service, special, or official passports
- Residents of Morocco with a valid residence permit
- Passengers in transit (not leaving the international zone)
- Spouses of Moroccan nationals (with proof)
- Travelers over the age of 55
We strongly advise to plan ahead for a peaceful travel to Morocco.
